Terms of Service

1. General

VELA is a platform for creating personal AI assistants in Telegram on top of regular bots. The platform is owned by an individual registered in the Republic of Kazakhstan. By using the service, you accept these terms in full. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

The platform may only be used by persons 18 years of age or older. If you are under 18, you may not create an account or use the service.

2. Use of the service

You agree to use the platform only for lawful purposes. The following is prohibited:

  • sending spam or unsolicited messages through bots
  • fraud or misleading other users
  • violating third-party rights, including copyright
  • attempting to bypass plan limits
  • any other activity that violates applicable law

We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms, without a refund.

3. Fair Use

The platform is intended strictly for personal use by one person. "Unlimited messages" on the Pro plan means no hard daily cap under normal personal usage — it does not grant the right to unlimited load.

The following is strictly prohibited:

  • using automated scripts, bots, or programs to mass-send messages to the AI assistant
  • deliberately generating excessive load on the platform to extract disproportionate value from a subscription
  • sharing your account with third parties
  • any other use aimed at circumventing the service's technical or financial limits

The platform automatically monitors usage patterns. Anomalous activity (request volumes characteristic of scripted use) is grounds for immediate account suspension.

If abuse is detected, the account is suspended without warning and without a refund. Abuse is established based on the platform's technical logs.

4. Plans and billing

The free Basic plan is available indefinitely with no payment details required. The paid Pro plan is billed monthly or annually through our payment provider, Lemon Squeezy.

You can cancel your subscription at any time — access to paid features remains until the end of the paid period, after which the account switches to Basic.

Refunds are handled under the policy of our payment provider, Lemon Squeezy. As a rule, a refund is possible within 30 days of payment for a justified reason — contact [email protected]. No refund is issued when an account is suspended for violating these terms or the fair use policy.

5. Data and privacy

We do not sell or share your data with third parties. Conversations with the AI assistant are used solely to operate the service and are stored encrypted. See the Privacy Policy for details.

6. Service availability

We aim to keep the platform available 24/7 but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. Planned maintenance is carried out with minimal user impact. We are not responsible for outages of third-party services (Telegram, Google, Anthropic).

7. Limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is". We are not liable for direct or indirect damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, the platform, including lost profits or data loss. The platform's liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the most recent billing period.

The platform runs on the infrastructure and services of third-party providers (hosting, databases, authentication, payments, AI models). We apply reasonable protection measures on our side, but are not liable for damages caused by failures, breaches, compromise, or data leaks on the side of these providers — responsibility for the security of their own infrastructure lies with the providers themselves.

8. Intellectual property

All platform content (design, code, copy) belongs to VELA. You retain all rights to the content you create or transmit through your bot.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Disputes are resolved through negotiation and, failing that, in court at the platform's place of registration.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. For material changes, we will notify you by email at least 7 days in advance. Continuing to use the platform after the changes take effect means you accept the new version.
