VELA is a platform for creating personal AI assistants in Telegram on top of regular bots. The platform is owned and operated by an individual registered in the Republic of Kazakhstan. By using the service, you agree to this privacy policy.
At sign-up: your email address. While you use the platform: your conversation history with your AI assistant, module settings, time zone, and bot name. When you connect Google (Pro plan): OAuth tokens for access to Calendar, Gmail, Tasks, and Drive — used solely to carry out your commands. When you connect Notion (Pro plan): a Notion integration token for access to your pages and databases — used solely to carry out your commands. When you connect Telegram channel reading (Pro plan): a session token for your personal Telegram account — used solely to read channel posts at your request.
We do not collect payment data — payments are processed directly by our payment provider, Lemon Squeezy.
Solely to operate the platform: processing your AI assistant requests, storing settings, and sending reminders. We do not use your data for advertising, third-party analytics, or sharing with anyone outside the platform.
Telegram bot tokens are stored encrypted (Fernet). Conversation history is stored in Redis for up to 90 days from the last message. Google OAuth tokens are also stored encrypted.
The platform infrastructure is hosted on Railway servers (USA). We apply reasonable technical measures to protect your data, but cannot guarantee absolute security on the internet.
The platform uses the infrastructure and services of third-party providers (hosting, databases, authentication, payments, AI models). We apply reasonable protection measures on our side, but are not liable for damages caused by failures, breaches, compromise, or data leaks on the side of these providers — responsibility for the security of their own infrastructure lies with the providers themselves.
If you connect a Google account, we request access only to Calendar, Gmail, Tasks, and Drive. If you connect Notion, we store only the integration token for the pages and databases you have shared yourself. If you connect Telegram channel reading, we store a session token for your personal Telegram account — used solely to read channel posts at your request. All of this data is used exclusively to carry out your commands to the AI assistant and is never shared with third parties. You can disconnect any integration in your dashboard under "Modules".
You can delete your account at any time in the "Settings" section of the dashboard. Deletion permanently erases all of your data — conversation history, settings, tokens — from all of our systems. You can also request a copy of your data by writing to our contact email.
We use two types of cookies: strictly necessary (Clerk session tokens for authentication) and analytics (Google Analytics — to understand traffic and improve the site). On your first visit we ask for your consent to analytics cookies. You can withdraw consent by clearing cookies in your browser settings.
To run the platform we rely on the following trusted providers, which may process your data under their own privacy policies: Clerk (authentication and account management), Railway (server and database hosting, USA), Lemon Squeezy (payment processing), Anthropic (message processing via Claude), Telegram (message delivery via the Bot API). We only choose providers that maintain an appropriate level of data protection.
We may update this policy. For material changes, we will notify you by email. Continuing to use the platform after the notification means you accept the new version.
For privacy questions, write to [email protected] or talk to our AI support assistant on the website. Please also review our Terms of Service.
